Ranking Notes

  • Dynasty ratings are based over the next 5 years and based on traditional 5×5 roto category scoring formats
  • Matt Olson and Bryce Harper are both proven veteran bats who should continue to provide strong fantasy value as they age into their mid-30s. Olson has been somewhat of an ironman since 2020, missing only a handful of games. He should continue to deliver 30+ home runs most years while playing every day for the Braves. Harper remains a gifted hitter with a career .281 average and plays up even more in OBP leagues thanks to his 14.5% career walk rate. On the downside, he has battled numerous injuries throughout his career, which could impact his long-term health.
  • Spencer Torkelson has had an up-and-down start to his young career, including a demotion to the minors in 2024, but he has bounced back in 2025 with a career-best 122 wRC+. He carries some batting average risk but should be a solid run producer with 30+ home run potential on a yearly basis.
  • Freddie Freeman is in the tail end of his Hall of Fame career. He still possesses elite contact skills, which will help him remain productive as he nears 40. However, expect his home run power to fade into the 15–20 range, though he should continue to rack up doubles. Freeman turns 36 next month and should remain a productive bat as long as he’s hitting in the middle of the Dodgers’ lineup, where he’s currently signed through 2027.
  • Spencer Steer is in the midst of his worst full season after battling shoulder issues in 2024 and early 2025. His struggles are evident in his average exit velocity and hard-hit rates, both of which are down to career lows in 2025. That said, Steer has shown signs of turning it around, including a hot June where he slashed .302/.320/.521. As someone who averaged 20–20 seasons over 2023–2024, expect Steer to rebound and offer 20–20 upside as a first baseman.
  • Josue Briceno, Ryan Clifford, Jonathon Long, and Blaze Jordan are all strong dynasty prospects. Long and Jordan are both hitting well at Triple-A but currently lack a clear path to playing time on their respective MLB rosters. Briceno, 20, may have the highest upside of the group but is the furthest from debuting, having just been promoted to Double-A.
